EarthQuaker Devices was founded in 2004 by Jamie Stillman. They are known for their strange designs and odd effects (as evidenced by the Rainbow Machine), but have also released an array of more traditionally-inclined devices (ex: Erupter), permutations of more conventional effects (Avalanche Run, Bit Commander), and new spins on classic circuits (Acapulco Gold, Palisades). To this day, EarthQuaker has produced dozens of pedals.
