Earthquaker Palisades Overdrive Pedal

The EarthQuaker Devices Palisades is a tubescreamer overdrive inspired by the TS808. The pedal is the result of extensive experimentation, the goal of which was to create one of the most versatile and powerful renditions of the TS808 in existence. 

The Palisades features two gain channels, five bandwidth settings, and six clipping voices, making it an extremely versatile mid-boost overdrive pedal. Each Gain channel is unique: channel A is lower and has a wider range of grit, while channel B is the inverse. Consequently, A is perfect for open chords, while B is ideal for palm mutes and solos. The bandwidth control determines the distortion’s frequency response, ranging from thin all the way to crunchy. The Palisades’s six clipping voices regulate the overall transparency of the distortion, allowing users to achieve a characteristically open sound at lower settings, and a tight, crunchy sound at higher ones. 

Additional controls include a normal/bright switch, which affords the ability to fine-tune the pedal for use with different amplifiers and guitars, and a buffer on/off switch for the incorporation of pristine high frequency response.
