Verbos Electronics is helmed by synthesizer savant Mark Verbos, who worked as a recording engineer and electronic musician for nearly two decades before venturing into the realm of Eurorack. Prior to his company’s inception, Verbos apprenticed with synthesizer guru Grant Richter (of Wiard fame) and made a name for himself repairing and building custom expansion modules for vintage Buchla systems.
Aesthetically, Verbos modules are very raw and intense sounding; perfectly suited to their creator’s desire to make organic, rhythmically-driven dance music. Technologically, VE’s designs mobilize discrete transistor circuits and vintage electronic architecture to the fullest extent, deploying each in a distinctly modern context to yield astounding results. Some of their most notable modules include the Harmonic Oscillator, Bark Filter Processor, and Scan & Pan stereo mixer.
All of their modules are designed and constructed in Berlin, Germany.
