Verbos Sequence Selector

Inspired by the Buchla Music Easel's Sequential Voltage Source, the Verbos Electronics Sequence Selector is a unique sequencer optimized for Eurorack modular synthesizer systems. The sequencer can be run more traditionally, with each of its five steps accessible via dedicated gate input. Additional buttons on each channel allow for manual control over stage selection.

The module derives its name from the process initiated at its signal selector inputs, which can mix both audio and CV signals, allowing for creative sequencing between the two.

Sequence Selector Features

  • 5-Step Sequencer
  • Jump to any stage with Pulse Inputs
  • Transpose CV input to offset the whole sequence
  • 2 5-Way selectors allowing 5 different CV sources to be switched between
  • Eurorack Module
  • Width: 16HP
  • Depth: Under 1""
  • Current Draw: 50mA@+12V, 30mA@-12V

Sequence Selector | Signal Selector Functionality
Taking the concept of the 16 step sequence further, we patched 5 control voltage signals into the "Signal Selector a" row and they are as follows:
1. C.v. a - Voltage Multistage
2. C.v. b - Voltage Multistage
3. Fluctuating Randoms - Random Sampling
4. Quantized Randoms "2n" - Random Sampling
5. Quantized Randoms "n+1" - Random Sampling
In this patch, we have the ability to manual select a signal or automate the process via the "advance" input.
Sequence Selector | 16 Step Sequence
One of the more common uses for the Sequence Selector is its ability to create 16 step sequences in conjunction with the Voltage Multistage. This is accomplished by patching "c.v. a" and "c.v. b" into the first two signal selectors on the Sequence Selector then eventually, coming out of the Signal Selector "a" master output. Advancing is addressed by the first stage gate output on the Voltage Multistage going into the "advance" input of the Sequence Selector, which in effect, advances the sequence 1 bar at a time.
