The Smooth/Stepped Generator is one of the most famous Serge modules with good reason. It packs an amazing amount of functionality into a relatively small package, making a variety of musical effects (such as portamento, lowpass gating, complex voltage-controlled oscillation, and sample/track and hold) easily attainable and controllable.
