Instruo I-ō47

I-ō47 from Instuō is a multimode filter/resonator module that takes inspiration from the classic 1047 filter design of ARP 2500 and adds a few twists to fit the needs of modern synthesists. Besides regular input, the filter features an inverted input with resonance dependent gain. Low pass and high pass filter slopes are 12 dB/octave, while the bandpass slope varies between 6 and 12 dB/octave depending on the resonance setting. I-ō47 is pingable via the Strike input. The Feedback switch enhances the resonance, allowing the filter to self-oscillate, which makes it usable as a sound source all on its own. Additionally, a limiter is implemented after the gain fader for the main input, based on Instuō’s tanh waveshaper module.
