Tiptop Audio Control Path

Control Path is Tiptop Audio's compact solution for completing full synth voices in a modular synthesizer, containing two ADSR envelope generators and an integrated VCA. If you look at traditional keyboard polysynths, you'll often find that they feature two envelope generators: one for controlling the filter, and another for the amplitude or volume. Of course, modular synthesizers are open-ended, but Control Path models this architecture in a slim 8hp package, meaning that you can easily build a handful of full voices without occupying an entire case. The right-side envelope is tied to an internal VCA, saving crucial HP in other places in your rig.

As a bonus when using this module in ART systems with OCTOPUS, Control Path's velocity inputs allow for level control of the envelopes based on MIDI note velocity converted into the ART stream. And to account for any potential latency between velocity CV and gate signal transmission, front panel trimmers are available to dial in timings as desired to avoid pesky clicks and blips.
