Forge TME Vhikk X

Forge TME's Vhikk X is a monolithic Eurorack module well suited for drones and experimental sound design, thanks to its stereo oscillator and effects processing engine. Unabashedly digital from start to finish, Vhikk X boasts multiple algorithms that pair different synthesis methods with effects ideal for crafting dark and evocative sonic explorations. Generally speaking, each algorithm begins with an oscillator routed through filtering and effects stages—the nine algorithms vary in synthesis and effects types for sonic variety. Parameters such as Warp, Span, Morph, and Scan allow you to shape, tune, and otherwise affect the oscillators, with different functions per mode. Meanwhile, the processor can change from standard delays to pseudo-reverberant echoes, and the incorporated frequency shifter ensures that things can always get weird and wild.

Given its multi-modal nature, Vhikk X makes use of two central encoders for a number of its parameters instead of normal knobs. These may be used to target different parameters, and Vhikk X will store them in memory with settings that persist between power cycles. Vhikk X features USB-C connectivity for future firmware updates, ensuring that this module will continue to evolve. Delivering foreboding voices and effects processing, Vhikk X is a worthy addition to any experimentalist's Eurorack rig.
