Befaco Oneiroi

Befaco's Oneiroi is their most ambitious single-module design yet, specializing in expansive drones, resonator effects, looping, and more. Oneiroi benefits from Befaco's extended partnership with Rebel Technology, incorporating the OWL mk3 technology inside. Onboard sine wave, stereo supersaw, and dynamic wavetable oscillators offer you an array of sonic possibilities, linked together with a shared 1V/Oct input and unison detune control. You can also route in external stereo audio signals for layering and blending with Oneiroi's internal sounds, before heading to the additional processor elements.

Oneiroi features a flexible state-variable filter, offering lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and comb filter options. The filter can be placed anywhere in the effects chain, giving you the option to cut or emphasize frequencies at any point along the way. Additional effects like a three-band resonator, two-tap echo, and one-knob reverb allow you to stretch and skronk sounds to your liking. You can even record and loop either the input source or the module's output, with a varispeed control that goes up to 2x speed in forward or reverse directions.

As you might hope, Oneiroi offers abundant CV inputs for modulating parameters, along with short-throw faders for managing the volume of most elements in the signal chain. But that's not all, a Randomization option is also available to spice things up on the fly, with selectable degrees of deviation and the option to undo changes you don't like. Though it is but a single module, Befaco's Oneiroi boasts worlds of sound design possibilities inside.
