DreadboxUtopia CV + Audio Manipulator
- No Hassle
Utopia from Dreadbox is a CV and audio manipulator that can attenuate, invert, mix, and distort audio and CV signals. The top of the module features four attenuverters which can be used to reduce and invert the amplitude of incoming signals. An offset generator is normaled to channel three, which adds a voltage offset to the mixed signals. This could be used, for example, to make an LFO go from 1–6V instead of 0–5V. The triangle wave LFO is normalled into the fourth mixer input and spans in frequency from 30 seconds up to 440Hz. The frequency of the LFO can be controlled with external CV signals.
When mixing signals, attenuating multiple signals in the same polarity mixes them, while inverting one of the signals will subtract it from the other signal. The four attenuverter outputs are normalled into the four mixer inputs, and inputting a signal into those mixer inputs breaks the normalization. The mixer output features three buffered multiple outputs for sending the mixed signal to multiple destinations. The output of the mixer is normaled to the pulserizer which squares up input signals and distorts them.
