AJH has collaborated with Cre8audio to create the MiniMod Keyz, a Eurorack take on the classic Model D synthesizer based on AJH's own Minimod series and the NiftyKeyz keyboard Eurorack case. If you've been looking for a modular Minimoog Model D emulation, this is exactly the synthesizer for you—delivering authentic classic tones with the convenience of a keyboard interface and the efficiency and flexibility of a Eurorack modular synthesizer.

Built in a NiftyKEYZ with custom, thicker, walnut cheeks, the MiniMod Keyz provides all the functionality of a Model D, but with a fully moduar Eurorack signal structure. Using three AJH Transistor Core VCOs, a Glide Noise, Ring SM, Transistor Ladder Filter, a Low Fat VCF, Discrete Cascaded VCA, Dual Contour Generator, and Tap Tempo VC-LFO, this is a fully stacked synth. Best of all, you can expand, switch stuff around, and take advantage of having a Eurorack synth, while still having a full 49-key keyboard.

The NiftyKEYZ features are also incredibly handy, from the capability to function as a MIDI controller or a MIDI–CV converter, all the way to the built-in arpeggiator and expression pedal input. A match made in heaven, the MiniMod Keyz is a great introduction into modular synthesis, or as an expansion of your already existing system complete with the classic sound of a Model D.
