Combining two useful modular functions into one module, the AJH Tap Tempo VC-LFO is an ideal source of clock-synchronized modulation for your Eurorack system. As suggested by the name, it's possible to manually tap in a tempo via the push button, making this a great way to "sync up" with live musicians. Alternatively, you can patch in an external clock signal to control the LFO. For further flexibility in timing, especially on the faster side of things, the Multiply control can bump up the LFO rate in tempo-related increments—handy for creating sixteenth or 32nd notes at brisk tempos! AS for the LFO itself, an eight-position rotary switch defines the waveform, with a toggle switch to select between banks for more options. The Waveform Twist control adds PWM-like control to most shapes, and the Level control for the internal VCA offers built-in attenuation for both the Unipolar and Bipolar outputs.
