XAOC Devices Jena

Jena from Xaoc Devices is part of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem, which operates based on manipulating binary 8-bit numbers. It needs to be paired with other Leibniz modules, such as the Drezno II. It maps incoming digital data based on a transfer function selected from the waveform shape bank. The input 8-bit values are treated as arguments of a function stored in memory. It features 15 banks of 256 of digital transformation data which each have their own functions and can be used as a wave shaper for both audio and CV signals, Walsh function generator, rhythm generator, or wavetable oscillator. The data is transmitted to Jena through the Leibniz interface which transmits both data clock and the 8 bits. The processed data may be output synchronously with the incoming clock or resampled with Jena's internal clock. The bank, shape, and phase of Jena can be modulated via CV. Jena introduces a new realm of processing into the Leibniz Binary Subsystem, providing complex reshaping to this already powerful system.
