Industrial Music Electronics Polivoks VCF

The Industrial Music Electronics (fka The Harvestman) Polivoks VCF module is part of their Iron Curtain Electronics system, which aims to bring the functionality of the legendary Polivoks synthesizer to the realm of Eurorack modular synthesizers. The module is an adaption of the 2-pole circuit found in the original Polivoks, albeit with some modifications to make it more suitable in a Eurorack modular context. No capacitors have been incorporated into the filter’s core, but original NOS op-amps were used to maintain the character of the original’s filter. The module features low- and band-pass outputs—which can be used separately or in tandem—a two-channel mixer capable of overdriving the filter, bi-polar CV multiplier, an gorgeously erratic resonance.
