Expert Sleepers ES-8
The ES-8 is a USB 2.0 interface that is the perfect way to integrate one's modular synthesizer with their computer hardware and software. Its DC-coupled inputs and outputs ensure precise processing of both audio and CV signals and render the module compatible with CV generation software (Silent Way, Reaktor, Max/MSP, CV Toolkit, etc). Additionally, the ES-8 sports ADAT inputs and outputs, allowing it to connect directly to an audio interface and provide extra preamps or 1/4" outputs. It can also connect to the ES-5 and ES-6 via expansion header.

Expert Sleepers ES-8 - Introduction
The Expert Sleepers ES-8 is a USB audio interface in a Eurorack synth module.
Simply connect the ES-8 with a USB cable directly to your Mac or iOS device and it appears as a 12-in 16-out audio interface ready to use for audio, control voltages, or both.
Both inputs and outputs are DC-coupled, meaning you can pass CVs in both directions between your hardware modular and software CV environments, such as Silent Way, Reaktor, zMors or max/MSP.
The ES-8 also has ADAT ports, which you can use to connect another audio interface, for example one with mic preamps or 1/4” jacks to hook up your other instruments.
You can also connect via ADAT to an Expert Sleepers ES-3 for more CV outputs.
The ES-8 also has a direct expansion connection for the Expert Sleepers ES-5, supporting up to 48 gate or trigger outputs.
