Expert Sleepers is a one-man show helmed by Andrew Ostler, a UK-based musician and software designer. Their entire line is oriented around interfacing computers and controllers with CV-equipped gear. Consequently, Ostler’s products have made the world of Eurorack synthesis even more modular than anyone would have thought possible. For example, the ES-8 is a DC-coupled audio/CV interface, while the FH-2 gives users the ability to directly connect a USB MIDI controller to their modular synthesizer (while simultaneously offering LFOs on each output, step sequencers, arpeggiators, polyphonic MIDI/CV conversion, and more). Other notable releases include the multifarious Disting and General CV modules, as well as the mind-blowing Silent Way plug-in suite, designed to assist musicians in interconnecting their modular synths to various software environments.
