The buttons unlock a universe of potential via the addition of new play functions, such as Next/previous pattern, direct access to pattern mode, save current project, freeze, and a DJ style nudge tool useful for reigning your sequences back into timing if they fall out of sync. Thus the Eloquencer MIDI Expansion Module becomes an almost mandatory expansion for the Eloquencer, as it enriches what came before, yet expands the scope of the sequencer to horizons not yet seen.
