Omnitone Mixel

Mixel from Omnitone is a 6HP mixer and inverting utility that offers multiple ways to mix signals together alongside two inverters, for a flexible audio or CV utility that's welcome in any modular system. Divided into three sections, Mixel can perform a number of separate functions in your patch.

The Mix section gives you a three channel mixer with independent level controls for each channel, as well as an overall mix level control at the output. Each channel provides gain from totally silent up to double the input amplitude, and is suitable for both audio and CV. To keep an eye on those pesky CV signals, dual-color bipolar LEDs make it simple to see the polarity of each channel and the output stage.

Below the Mix section is a simple three input summing mixer, which allows you to combine CV or audio signals to derive more complex material. Input a group of gates and triggers, multiple LFOs, or oscillator outputs, and you'll quickly find this helpful tool greater than the sum of its parts. Finally, two channels of inversion are helpful for creating mirrored sequences, ducking audio for sidechaining with envelopes, and much more.
