Housed in the standard heavy-duty metal chassis like all other Mission Engineering products, the EP1-KP SPL boasts a 10k linear pot that matches exactly what the Profiler expects in expression pedals. There's also a momentary TS switch that may be activated in the pedal's to-down position, engaging optional switched effects.

But of course, the EP1-KP SPL features an internal spring mechanism, meaning that it returns to its heel-down position once weight is removed from the pedal. With the Kemper Profiler, this feature works seamlessly with the automatic wah function: wah on when the pedal moves, wah off when it's all the way down.
