Dannysound Dynamics

Designed to be a flexible dynamics unit suited for modular synthesis, Dannysound's Dynamics module offers compression, expansion, EQ, and harmonic excitation for a variety of shaping purposes. The compressor / expander section comprises of a feed-forward design, with a singular Comp/Exp control plus Initial Level, Attack, and Release parameters. Additionally, there is a secondary Sub Bass compression circuit, ducking out transients to avoid onset clipping but boosting the overall signal level. And with Input Gain, Amplifier Drive, and Mix controls, you can dial in your preferred variety of parallel and/or saturated dynamics management.

As a bonus, Dynamics also features a three-band inductor EQ, with a harmonic exciter for adding pleasant distortion and sizzle to high-end frequencies. The EQ input is normalled to the output of the compressor, but this may be changed by re-patching—you can even use them on totally separate elements in your patch!
