Ciat-Lonbarde Golden Section

Expanding upon Peterlin, Ciat-Lonbarde's Golden Section adds more opportunities for gestural control and creative patching to their unique spin on Rob Hordijk's classic Benjolin. The center of Golden Section is identical to Peterlin: two oscillators, a resonant lowpass filter, and Hordijk's signature Rungler shift register circuit. The interaction of all these elements yields sonic chaos and unpredictability, leading to anything from evolving drones and percolating melodies to squelches, gurgles, and beyond.

Golden Section is bookended by two new Peter Blasser designs, mirrored on either side. Gold is a compact gestural controller, simplified but not dissimilar in concept to the Deerhorns found on its namesake Organ and the Plumbutter. The output of each Gold and various signals from Peterlin may intermingle within one of two Section modules, a Ciat-Lonbarde spin on sample-and-hold circuits. As a self-contained chaotic instrument or a dynamic member of an experimental ensemble, Golden Section has a lot to offer for the esoteric electronic musician.
