Bubblesound HEXvca
The Bubblesound Instruments HEXvca is a six-channel VCA and mixer great for voltage controlled mixing and polyphonic amplification. Each of the VCAs are able to be adjusted from linear to exponential response curves. The inputs are DC-coupled so it can be used as an audio or control voltage amplifier. The CV inputs are normalized using jumpers on the back of the module, so one input CV can affect multiple channels at the same time. Additionally, a header on the back of the HEXvca allows for the HEXa(s)r to be linked and can modulate the VCAs without the need for patch cables. Three mix outputs are also available, 1-3, all, and 4-6, which mix the corresponding channels for voltage controlled mixing. It uses SSM2164 VCA chips, which offer low-noise and provide lots of headroom.
