ALM Busy Circuits mmMIDI mkII
Revitalized with newly added USB connectivity, mmMIDI mkII from ALM / Busy Circuits is a compact and straightforward module offering seamless integration between MIDI devices and Eurorack systems. In just 4HP, mmMIDI takes in MIDI clock and up to two channels of MIDI note messages, converting them into CV and gate signals you can use to control a modular synthesizer. To keep the size down, MIDI signals are received via 3.5mm TRS or USB-C connection, providing a versatile range of options for controlling your synthesizer from a DAW or hardware device.
mmMIDI's clock output section has two outputs: run and x24. The run output stays high as long as the MIDI clock is playing and the x24 output is a twenty-four pulse-per-quarter-note clock output. This is the default clock setting found on the ALM Pamela's Pro Workout. Both MIDI note channels have 1V/Oct, velocity, and gate outputs, providing plenty of control information for expressive performance. The 1V/Oct and velocity outputs have a range of 0 to +8V, while the gate outputs operate at +5V. For those looking to go even deeper with their MIDI integration, an optional 3HP expander called mmT adds eight trigger outputs that correspond to the notes printed on the panel, perfect for populating the trigger inputs on your favorite drum or sampler modules. For seamless modular MIDI integration in a compact package, look no further than the mmMIDI Rev. 2 from ALM / Busy Circuits.
