WMD Time Warp

Time Warp from WMD is a two-channel gated slew generator, perfect for adding acid-style slides to your sequences. The unique gated slew adds slew to an input signal when it receives a gate signal. This allows, for example, a certain step of a sequence to be slewed while the others are not. This function can be inverted by switch, turning off slew when it receives a gate signal. This is especially useful in a live performance setting, offering easy opportunity for performative variation on static sequences.

There is both a symmetrical and asymmetrical mode, which allows it to act as an envelope generator. Additionally, patching audio into Time Warp allows it to act as an envelope follower, turning the loudness of an input signal into a corresponding envelope. An onboard full wave rectifier keeps all incoming voltages in the positive voltage domain for easy with envelope following. Slew time of the two channels can be independently CV controlled for variation within a slewed pattern, making some parts longer or shorter. Time Warp achieves what would normally take several modules to do in a compact package that is versatile and powerful enough to fit in any setup.
