WMD AXYS

The AXYS crossfader from WMD is an all-analog module which features two voltage-controllable stereo crossfaders. AXYS was built with performance in mind.

Each channel (X and Y) features two pairs of stereo inputs that can be crossfaded between. This design is inspired by DJ-ing, as both channels X and Y have an A and B deck. This allows the user to smoothly glide between multiple patches, so one never has to worry about silence as they transition between pieces.

While each crossfader utilizes a pair of stereo inputs, they can also upmix any mono signals they encounter. Both channels also feature CV control, and a global switch allows you to choose how Y will react to the X CV input, effectively linking the two faders to a single CV to fade together or opposite one another. AXYS is a perfect choice for the performing modular artist, or any musician that needs a new and novel means of signal summing.
