Honk! If you've ever wanted your Eurorack system to honk like a goose on the loose, the Big Honking Button from Winterbloom is a great find. Pressing the big arcade-style button produces a honk at the audio out, as well as a gate signal at the gate output. Additionally, you can fire off honks with the external gate input and control the sample's pitch using the 1V/oct input.

The Big Honking Button uses CircuitPython, letting you customize the module's functionality and behavior using the Python programming language. This includes changing the sample, loading multiple samples, controlling the selected sample with CV, and producing random gate signals. This simple sampler and gate-source is fun and customizable, letting it behave in a myriad of ways.
