Wavefonix MIDI Interface

Bridge the gap between your modular system and the outside world with this MIDI Interface form Wavefonix. With a five-pin DIN MIDI input at the bottom, this module will accept MIDI data from keyboards, DAWs, grooveboxes, and more, converting it into useful control voltages for other Eurorack modules to benefit from synchronization, note information, and CCs. In particular, the Note CV output provides remarkable tracking across eight octaves, with a dedicated Glide control to impart portamento into your playing. There's also dedicated CV outputs for Velocity and Pitch Bend, with the latter being normalled into the Note output for easier integration.

The CC output supports continuous voltages from zero to ten volts, and the CC number may be specified with the toggle switch above, allowing for the options of CC1, CC71, and CC74. Gate, Trigger, and Clock outputs spit out 5V gates, with the Clock outputting a trigger every quarter note, and all sport LEDs for indication of activity. Depending on your preferences, Note Priority may be specified with the topmost toggle switch, offering Last, Highest, and Lowest note modes.
