Found in the Prophet 5 Rev 4, the 2140 LPF uses a filter IC that produces a creamy and awe-inspiring slope and filter shape for carving out any sound source. The onboard controls of cutoff and resonance both have the flexibility of being manually or automatically modulated via the CV inputs, with the cutoff frequency sporting two FM inputs as well as a 1V/Oct input for melodic tracking. The incoming tracking can also be limited thanks to the included tracking attenuator, and signal loss from resonance increase is a thing of the past with an engageable resonance compensation switch. With adjustable input signal to drive the filter even harder, the 2140 LPF will sound amazing on leads, basses, pads, and anything you can imagine needing taming and shaping.
