Warm Audio WA-47F

Designed around the vintage sound and versatility of a mic that's lasted through the ages, Warm Audio's WA-47F is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that can accept extremely loud sources with little to no noise. Based upon the brilliance of the Neumann U47 FET that defined the sound of so many vocalists and drummers, the WA-47F sports the same high-SPL handling design with crisp and speedy transient response. This is accomplished via the gold-sputtered K-47-style capsule with premium Fairchild transistors for capturing minute detail while handling loudness as high as 137dB SPL, and the engageable -10dB pad increases that capability up to 147dB SPL! The low-noise nature that helps utilize such a high input handling is found in the custom TAB-Funkenwerk USA output transformer, producing a large and in charge reproduction you throw at it. Known for its edge and punctuation it brings to any kick drum, guitar or bass cab, or vocal recording, the WA-47F is here to be your new secret studio weapon for a variety of uses.
