The Universal Audio Thunderbolt 2 Option Card connects to their Apollo and Apollo 16 interfaces to implement the following improvements and functionality: fast PCIe audio drivers, expanded UAD plugin instances, optimal performance at increased sample rates, and diminished UAD latency. The card is compatible with Intel Thunderbolt-equipped Macs.
