Orion is the first delay pedal in the new compact line of UAFX pedals from Universal Audio, featuring a new, authentic emulation of the legendary Echoplex EP-3. Offering an expander version of the same algorithm found in their larger Starlight Echo Station pedal, Orion is a compact pedal pal that makes no sacrifices in sound quality. Straightforward parameters leave no mysteries in dialing in a great delay sound: Delay time, dry/wet Mix, Feedback repeats, and Record Level for pushing the virtual tape and preamps harder for more saturation. If you'd like to hone in on some different tape delay characters, Tape mode switches between Mint, Worn, and Old for different characteristics attributed to aged tape and unserviced machines. And with the Wonk control, different amounts of Wow & Flutter from subtle to extreme can be dialed in, with different behaviors depending on the chosen Tape mode.
