Apollo Solo USB from Universal Audio provides the renowned onboard DSP processing, analog-digital conversion, and Unison microphone preamp technology into UA's most compact and affordable package to date. With two inputs, two main outputs, and a high-power, low-noise headphone output, Apollo Solo USB is a straightforward audio interface, but packing serious potential with its software and plugin capabilities.

The onboard UAD-2 SOLO Core processor found on Apollo Solo USB is capable of offloading processing power from your computer, and internally running plugin emulations of legendary outboard gear, guitar amps, and effects processors from icons like Neve, Avalon, Marshall, Fender, and more. Furthermore, with Universal Audio's Unison technology, Apollo Solo USB can adjust the impedance of its two microphone and instrument preamps allowing for a more accurate feel and response when compared to the original hardware. Simply use the included Console software to configure Apollo Solo USB into the channel strip of your dreams. Best of all, because this is all happening within the interface itself and not the host computer, monitoring channels with plugins loaded up via Console is near-instant, so there's no need to jump around between different buffer sizes. Of course, any plugin is also available for standard use within a DAW of your choice.
