Twisted Electrons AY3-8912
The Twisted Electrons AY3-8912 is the Eurorack incarnation of their AY3 MKII synthesizer. The module derives its sound from an AY3-8912 chip, which was used in many classic ‘80s video games. Like it’s older sibling, the module features two oscillators and an arpeggiator. However, because it is optimized for Eurorack, the AY3-8912 features CV control over all crucial parameters. All this and more makes the module a welcome addition to any Eurorack modular setup, especially those aspiring or appealing to various aspects of vintage 8-bit compositions.
