Spice up your modulation and add some additional drums to the mix with the new Wobbler2 from TINRS. Not simply improving upon the original, the new Wobbler offers some of the most interesting LFO waveforms available in Eurorack, and extends these options into the audio range with some killer drum synthesis. Engage the Bang On! button to activate drum mode, or keep things in the sub-audio realm with the standard Wobbler functionality.

In LFO mode, Wobbler2 offers five different shapes to work with. Standard mode morphs between classic sine, sawtooth, triangle, and square waveforms. Self-Phasing blends a phase-shifted copy of itself for more complex shapes. Twang and Double Pendulum employ physical modeling methods, respectively representing a resonating sitck and swinging pendulums. Finally, sample and hold latches the value of an internal white noise generator with optional smoothing.

Tap Bang On! and get your wobbly drum action on! Like LFO mode, there are five drum models to work with, and it's possible to sequence and crossfade between them at any given moment! Big Drum specializes in kicks and toms, while Block covers various shapes of objects you could hit with a stick. Sproing gives some wacky spring and bounce sounds, and Snare and Hihat cover noisy and metallic timbres with ease.

Wobbler2 features I/O with universal functionality, so they function near identically regardless of whether you're in LFO or Drum mode. Each output features a bipolar level control and will scale the Regular and Phased outputs in LFO mode, as well as the matching Envelope in Drum mode—the Drum audio output will apply compression when turned to the left, and distortion to the right. If you're into all manner of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff, then there's simply no better choice than the Wobbler2—after all, This Is Not Rocket Science!
