The Earlybird 4, from Thermionic Culture, provides four channels of pristine preamplification in a compact chassis that is now available in red. Please note that this run is limited to just 49 units!

Earlybird 4 features simplified circuitry on each channel for an inherently natural and transparent sound. Its valve gain range extends from 3dB to 62dB and features switchable impedance for interfacing with different microphones.

On top of all that, the unit is entirely handwired, with a circuit design that incorporates push pull class A valve amplification. This allows the Earlybird to provide exceptionally clean gain for lower distortion. Additionally, the unit’s in/out transformers have been specially designed to afford low phase shift and high headroom, ensuring optimal performance no matter the application.
