Define the intensity of compression with the Gain Reduction control, and manage your volume with the Output level control. Beyond that, a bypass switch engages the effect, or allows parameters to be linked from a second unit for stereo operation, while a Release switch shapes the tail-end of compression to be Fast, Slow, or Automatically adjusted.
