The device gives users automatic backing harmonies, double tracking, EQ, compression, reverbs, a robot effect, and more. Presets can be scanned using the Genre button, enabling users to find the perfect style and save their favorites for easy access.

One of the most useful features of VoiceLive Play is the HIT feature, which lets users stack effects on top of one another. This creates a workflow where effects can be exponentially layers on top of others for the perfect sound. And if all that wasn't enough, VoiceLive Play can sense and adapt to mp3 files that are connected via its aux input. Once connected, users can activate Vocal Cancel to increase their voice's prevalence in the mix. Singing can be recorded and recalled via USB connection.
