The Tannoy Gold 7 is a 300-watt bi-amplified nearfield studio reference monitor that delivers detailed definition and super-accurate sound reproduction. The Dual Concentric drive technology minimizes crossover points and retains the subtleties and nuances of your sound. The centrally located titanium tweeter features Tulip Waveguide with symmetrical dispersion that allows for incredibly accurate and focused response from the monitor. Additionally, the Gold 7 allows for long listening sessions with its non-fatiguing sound.

Two audio sources can be used simultaneously with the continually-active XLR and TRS inputs. The Gold 7 also includes 3.5mm aux input that can be selected to be right or left channel. The bi-amplification uses a hybrid class-AB system. Class-A amplifiers are best suited for lower volumes, but waste power as heat when outputting higher wattage. Class-B amplifiers, while more efficient, tend to add unwanted distortion. Class-AB provides the best of both worlds, with the performance of class-A coupled with the higher efficiency of class-B.

The monitor can be adjusted to suit any listening environment with input trim, as well as bass and treble adjustment. The front-firing bass port offers rich and detailed bass response and allows for the monitor to be placed near a wall. An optional power saver mode automatically switches to a more environmentally friendly mode after a period of inactivity. The Gold 7 builds on the more than 90 years of audio legacy from Tannoy, offering detailed imaging, accurate sound reproduction, and a wide range of sweet spots.
