System 80 860 MkII

Continuing the legacy of their renowned Jove filter, the 860 Mk2 from System 80 is a refined version of the legendary Roland Jupiter-6 filter in Eurorack format. This 10hp multimode filter sits between the larger Jove and the smaller 860 Mk1, replacing both models with refined circuitry and an updated layout, while continuing to provide the same juicy sound made famous by one of the most desirable analog synths of all time.

Many of the same features found on the Jove return on the 860 Mk2, delivering a familiar experience to users of the original. The four distinct filter modes return, offering 24dB and 12dB lowpass, highpass, and bandpass. A nice improvement from the Jove is that the 860 Mk2 now remembers the last used filter mode between power cycles, convenient for dense patches at live shows with a lot of setup. Speaking of changes, both audio inputs now have their own level control, increasing the 860's utility as a submixing element of your patches. All of the best modules allow for flexible modulation potential, and the 860 Mk2 is no exception—unipolar and bipolar cutoff modulation inputs with attenuators, plus an input for resonance CV make for a highly shapeable filter section.

If you're seeking a flexible, analog filter with tons of character, look no further than the 860 Mk2, for by jove, is it a good one.
