Combining multiple rectification and mixing stages into a single, versatile module, Syntonie's Solaire gives you more ways to combine video feeds, ramps, and other signals within your video modular system. Rectifiers are a vital part of a video system: turn ramps into triangle waves, double the frequency of an oscillator, or create solarization effects on complex signals. By giving you four of these, Solaire is an incredibly handy utility—but it doesn't stop there. There are also three 2:1 mixers that can operate in three different modes: average, add, and subtract. This affords the ability to sum and LFO with a higher rate signal for slower movement within complex modulation, combining horizontal and vertical ramps in 2D shapes, and so much more. Solaire is a module that proves that utilities can be some of the most powerful additions to a modular system.
