Faithfully recreating the specifications of the Fender 6G15 reverb unit, the SurfyBear Compact Deluxe uses JFET transistors in place of the tubes, providing a reliable source for real vintage tones. Like the original, the Compact Deluxe gives you control over the amount of signal going to the spring with the Dwell control, then lets you shape your Tone and dry/wet mix. The decay control adjusts the length of the reverb tails, with a wide range provided by the Accutronics type-8 reverb pan under the hood. Two independent mix settings with a footswitch let you switch between two reverb amounts in performance, while the volume control sets the final output level.

With the expanded connectivity in this deluxe model, you can also connect an external reverb pan and have it assigned independently to each mix control. The tremolo effect is from Surfy's own SurfyTrem circuit, with switchable black and brownface voicing modes and is configurable pre or post reverb. Finally, the SurfyBear Compact Deluxe can be powered by 9-12V at any polarity, making this the most pedalboard-friendly SurfyBear yet.
