Solid State Logic UltraViolet Stereo EQ

Borrowing and building upon the Violet EQ from their flagship Fusion outboard processor, Solid State Logic's UltraViolet 500 Series module brings some of its own new features to the table. This EQ imparts minimal phase-shifting to processed audio, and thus maintains maximum musical and harmonic integrity. With its stereo audio processing capabilities, it's a perfect companion for the SSL Stereo Bus Compressor

Compared to the earlier version of this EQ found on the Fusion, SSL took the chance to add two additional mid-bands for further sonic sculpting. The inclusion of Focus buttons that engage a narrower Q slope allows engineers to seek out problematic frequencies and handle them accordingly, putting UltraViolet among the most flexible 500 series equalizers around. Focus will also boost the range of gain boost or cut from +/-9dB to an immense +/-18dB. Bring the UltraViolet into your studio, and you'd be hard-pressed to find an EQ situation that it can't handle with grace.
