Even in the compact form of a 500 series module, SSL has packed the SiX Channel with the same SuperAnalogue preamp design, offering plenty of gain with stellar low-noise performance. Microphones, line-level sources, and instruments alike can all benefit from the SuperAnalogue sound. From there, enhance or carve away low and high frequency content with the two-band EQ, providing +/- 15dB of gain at 60 Hz and 3.5 kHz in shelf mode, or 200 Hz and 5 kHz in bell mode. A straightforward one knob compressor offers seamless control over dynamics, from subtle enhancements to overbearing compression.
