Soundforce Dual ADSR
Faithfully recreating the envelope generator from the renowned Juno 106, the Soundforce Dual ADSR offers classic modulation with plenty of modern additions for increased flexibility. Utilizing a high-spec ARM chip clocked at 120 MHz, the Dual ADSR is able to create smooth and snappy envelopes, despite being totally digital. The Dual ADSR expands on the Juno 106 ADSR by adding three selectable time ranges, linear or exponential curvature, cycle mode, and plenty of patch points to make it a worthy addition to any eurorack system.
Juno enthusiasts can find the classic response of the 106 in the medium time setting with exponential response selected, although the attack stage will remain linear to be truly faithful to the original instrument. But the scope of this module doesn't end there, as the short time range allows for super snappy envelopes with all segments being as short as 0.2 or 0.5 milliseconds, and maxing out at one or two seconds in length. Alternatively, flip the time switch to long mode for extended, sweeping modulation, reaching attack times up to 60 seconds, as well as decay and release times up to 30 seconds in length each. Each segment of the ADSR features individual voltage control, allowing for dynamic modulation of segment lengths, and an assignable "end-of" output that transmits a gate upon completion of the attack, decay, or release stages.
With clear sliders representing each segment, unobstructed by cables thanks to placement of jacks on either side of the module, the Soundforce Dual ADSR promises to be a highly approachable and musical source of modulation, with plenty to add to the voltage conversation of systems large or small.
