The Notepad-8FX is a compact powerhouse that functions great as an eight-channel analog mixer as well as a USB audio interface. With Lexicon-powered effects for delay, chorus, and reverb that are all available simultaneously, you can record lush sounding guitar, keys, vocals, or just about anything else. Two mono XLR/combo jack equipped channels have a beautiful sounding 3-band EQ with enough gain to push even the quietest mics. Two stereo channels offer separate 1/4" jacks and a final stereo RCA channel is also where you receive computer audio from. Aux knobs are available on all channels and can be routed as a send for the built in effects, as a mono monitor output for using extra outboard gear of speakers, or as an extra stereo mix for using two sets of headphones. A master fader gives you accurate control over the mix and the build quality is exceptional.
