Bring the pitch-tracking power of Sonicsmith's ConVertor E1 to any MIDI instrument with the MIDVertor E1. Through a digital connection on the back of the modules, the MIDVertor E1 pulls the pitch, envelope follower, and gate from the connected ConVertor E1 and translates them into MIDI messages, so any instrument can follow the pitch and dynamics of guitars, vocals, or any other non-electronic instrument. In fact, up to six ConVertor E1 modules can be connected at once, enabling easy access to pitch-tracked polyphonic madness!

MIDVertor E1 also offers a few handy ways to manipulate the pitch data coming from its companion modules. Arpeggiations and transpositions may be accessed manually or through expression pedals, and remote preset switching allows MIDVertor E1 to serve as a central hub for various configurations of several ConVertor E1s if so desired. The pitch streamed from connected modules is 16-bit data, so MIDVertor E1 is ready for MIDI 2.0, and the firmware running on the module is open source and modifiable by programmers in need of alternative functionality.
