SOMA Laboratory Quantum Ocean

Quantum Ocean is an experimental electro-shamanistic device that facilitates introspection and new possibilities of perception. The Quantum Ocean outputs analog binaural noise through its 3.5mm headphone jack, and comes with a book that outlines the design philosophy behind the device, with included exercises to get the most out of the QO. It runs off of a 9V battery, letting you take it anywhere, but it works best in spaces free of electromagnetic interference. Use the volume control to set a comfortable level and use a good pair of headphones with accurate bass reproduction and flat frequency response.

Four pads occupy the corners of the Quantum Ocean: two sensitive pads, and two transmitting pads. Tune the QO to external objects using the sensitive pads—these work great with the slight electricity present in the human body, allowing your fingertips to influence the quantum processes by focusing on certain objects or concepts and touching the pads. The transmitting pads work the other way, sending out slight impulses from the heart of the QO that travel through your skin to interface directly with the underlying processes of this meditative machine. Breath deep, clear your mind, put on a pair of headphones, and get lost in the Quantum Ocean.
