Hand-crafted and manually biased for supreme recordings every time, the f-48 from Singular Audio is a large diaphragm FET condenser microphone loaded with high-quality components for a lively and dynamic sound. Many of the design and parts of the f-48 are inspired by none other than the infamous Neumann U47, including a k-47 style capsule that contains an evaporated gold dual-membrane. Unlike the U47, the f-48 contains less electronics for a more pure and warmer tone accentuating upper harmonics, and the 7:1 output transformer complements the harmonics with leveled tones and sparkly transient response. Additionally, the f-48 can capture in either a cardioid or omni polar pattern, a parameter that can only be accessed via an internal switch. Finished in a stark dark gray powder coat with a shockmount and protective hard case for storage and travel, the f-48 from Singular Audio will become your go-to microphone for any artist who wants to stand out with their voice or instrument.
