Beyond note patterns, these tracks can also send controller messages to connected instruments, empowering your creativity with limitless musical potential. Flexible step lengths, randomization features, fill patterns, CV envelopes, and so much more put you in control for untethered composition and performance—all with rock solid timing that never misses a beat of your creative flow.

In its sleek desktop or rack-mountable enclosure, the CVIO version of Cirklon 2 offers plentiful connectivity options for achieving even your most daring hardware dreams. Five independent MIDI ports, a multi-channel CV/gate port for analog instruments, and virtual ports via the class-compliant USB-MIDI device connection make it easy to get jamming no matter what gear moves you. Incorporate vintage gear with the Sync port to clock DIN SYNC devices, seamlessly merging past and present favorites to execute your musical vision. Never to be outdone, this second iteration of the Cirklon also includes a USB host port, allowing you to connect additional USB-MIDI interfaces, USB storage devices, and even convenient peripherals like a USB keyboard for pattern and song naming.

8MB of onboard RAM gives you plenty of on-device storage for patterns and other data, while an internal micro-SD or external SD card can be used for even more storage. Compose patterns, assign them to instruments, and get lost in the satisfying feel of Cirklon 2's lovely tactile switches. An extensive song mode makes it easy to workshop patterns into whole arrangements, providing an intuitive and high-performance centerpiece for your entire musical workflow.
