E 845-S from Sennheiser is a dynamic microphone with supercardioid pick-up pattern designed to handle extremely high sound pressure levels, and uncompromisingly cut through the sonic mass of a live performance situation. Rugged metal housing and excellent shock-mounting significantly reduce handling noise, which provides a great amount of freedom for operating the mic on stage. Furthermore, highly stable on/off axis and proximity response compensate for the volume irregularities when changing the position of the microphone. Extended high frequency response with boosted presence were specifically implemented to accomodate for vocal use ensuring clarity of every single word that passes through the E 845-S.
